I can’t recommend Morris Automotive enough. They exceeded every expectation and gave me a level of comfort, clarity and trust that I’ve honestly never experienced with a mechanic before. I came to them for a second opinion after my dealership gave me an outrageous quote and made me feel like my car was on the verge of breaking down if I didn’t address a long list of issues ASAP. From the moment I brought my car to Morris, the experience was completely different. They immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. They were fast, communicative, thorough and incredibly professional. They took the time to really inspect my car and then walked me through exactly what they found—what actually needed attention, what I should prioritize and, just as importantly, what I didn’t need to worry about. It turned out that most of what the dealership had told me was urgent simply wasn’t. What stood out most was that I never felt like they were trying to sell me something. I felt like they were on my side. They gave me clear, practical recommendations, kept me updated throughout the process and charged me an incredibly fair price for the work. I was referred here by an auto-body shop after struggling to find a mechanic who I had confidence in. Danny is a straight shooter. He knows his field well and helped connect us to a solid shop for our transmission issue. He also got back to me quickly. Grateful to have Morris Automotive here on the Westside.

This is an amazing shop. I’d highly highly recommend. I recently went for a huge job (evaporator replacement) and had great results. As a younger woman, it can be more difficult to find a trustworthy & honest shop. I’ve been ripped off one too many times and these guys not only do great work, but are so incredibly fair in pinpointing an issue! I’ve went to them on a few occasions over the last few years and they’ll be my go to as long as I’m in the area!

I recently required vehicle maintenance and was evaluating service providers, as I typically exercise caution with external establishments due to prior experiences. Morris Automotive was highly recommended by several trusted individuals, and I must state that their service exceeded my expectations. I met with Danny at the facility to discuss the issues with my vehicle. He provided a competitive quote and expertly addressed the problems, resulting in my car performing as it did on the day of purchase in 2016. I am now a lifelong customer. If you're looking for a great mechanic I highly recommend Morris Automotive located on 14th Street and Colorado in Santa Monica.

These guys are the best! As a woman who knows nothing about cars it is wonderful to finally find a place where they are so honest and tell you exactly what's going on with your car and then go above and beyond. I have had a lot of things done here but yesterday I came in because the brake pedal felt funny and Danny told me I had to leave the car I couldn't drive it because I had an appointment I wanted to go to and thank God because my master cylinder was broken! These guys are experts but they are also kind and friendly and willing to explain everything. All of their customers are lucky to have them especially me
